How to Join the KOI Records Street Team

KOI Records was founded in 2005 in Houston, Texas by Rebecca and Mark Jessup. There are several dozen bands that are in the genre of indie and alternative, staying as underground as possible. There are several different ways in which to contact KOI Records; however, the most preferred contact is to join the street team. Street teams are a way in which individuals assist the band or organization in their promotion.

1. First: Search for KOI Records

   Opening up a browser window, one could type in KOI Records to view the several results available. KOIRecords.com is one website that pops up, and clicking on the link directs the user to the KOI Records website.

2. Second: Scroll down

   On the home page of KOIRecords.com, there is a picture of the infamous Uncle Sam poster. KOI Records has linked this image to a form where one can fill in information required to sign up for the street team. KOI Records street team is linked to the social media site Myspace.com. An account is required in order to sign up for the street team.

3. Third: Sign up or log in to Myspace.com

   If the user does not have a Myspace.com account, he or she must sign up in order to access the street team page for KOI Records. Myspace.com offers a step-by-step process through which one can create an account. If the user has an account, he or she must log in.

4. Fourth: Search for KOI Records

   Search for KOI Records and the individual can find the "add friend" on Myspace. The user is now a part of the KOI Records street team.
